Contini Vernaccia di Oristano "Flor" 2018

What it is: 100% Vernaccia from Oristano Sardinia that spends 4 years in oak and chestnut barrels and develops that wonderful "flor" or veil of yeast over the top of the aging wine.

Smells & Tastes:  - Almonds, toasted walnuts, salted caramel without being sweet. Unctuously textured with a long, lingering finish.  

Drink with: aperitif wine with cheese, simple fish dishes, nut or cheese driven desserts that aren't too sweet.
