About

Albariza is the Spanish name for the piercing white chalky limestone soils found in Southwestern Spain where sherry is made. It is also found in some of the best wine regions in the world including Champagne, Chablis, Sancerre, Jura, Rhone, Tuscany, Sardinia, Veneto, Mendoza, & Paso Robles only to name a few! For me, the name Albariza represents my excitement to give you easy access to really unique as well as awesomely classic wines from all over the world. I seek out wineries that are small in production, farming with respect, most likely organic and/or bio-dynamically certified, and are making wines with a more hands-on approach, with little to no additives (a little sulfur is alright in my book).
